At the Exodus Coffee Company we believe that even the smallest things can make a huge difference to the world around us. From our 100% compostable take-away cups, to the super-efficient equipment we use and the beans that go to make our coffee. They have all been chosen to ensure we serve you the best coffee possible, every time we serve you. Consistent and full of flavour.
Coffee that makes us proud.
The UK's high streets and town centres are fast becoming over-run with coffee shops, with new corporate franchise outlets seemingly popping up overnight. And yet go in to any of them and the chances are that the quality of the drink served will vary dramatically between shops with the same name above the door and can even vary within the same shop depending on who makes the drink.
Exodus Coffee Company is different. At Exodus, the coffee (or tea, or hot chocolate, or chai latte, or in fact any of our drinks) we serve you will be consistently excellent, regardless of which one of us makes it. Our beans are selected from highest grade 100% arabica coffee plants and the farmers are paid 30% above their production costs, not only to ensure they maintain the quality of the crop they're growing but also to be certain that they actually make a profit for their efforts. The beans are then roasted in small batches and in such a way that the full flavour and natural oils contained within the beans are not lost through over-roasting. In fact the entire process, from selection of bean, to roasting, grinding and extraction is of the highest quality to ensure the coffee we serve does not disappoint.
Why Exodus is different
About Exodus Coffee Company
The Exodus Coffee Company was formed in 2015, after some twenty years of dreaming and planning. It was during a holiday to Northern California in his early-twenties that owner Ant discovered a 'drive-thru' coffee bar at the side of the road. Despite the somewhat ramshackle nature of the building, the coffee being served was exceptional and the dream of one day owning his own 'ramshackle place' was born.
Fast forward to 2011 and after various employed positions (and with the never-ending support of Lois) Ant decided it was time to set out to achieve his goal. It was about that same time that Ant met Kelly and Tim and everything started to fall in to place. Kelly worked for the same corporate 'giant' and Tim was a qualified acountant; most importantly both had a dream to have their own coffee or tea business.
It took a further four years to make the dream a reality but in September 2015, Exodus Coffee opened its first shop in Salisbury, Wiltshire.
